Research

Independently or in collaboration with other institutions we develop research projects related to gardens, landscapes or urban ecological infrastructures.
In them we bring our experience by combining classic approaches associated with botany, history or landscape architecture with more innovative ones linked to data analysis and visualization or digital cartography.
Atlas of the gardens of the Alcazar, Atlas of Urban Therapies, The Magellan Garden, Patterns of Plant Association, Botanical Atlas of Las Dueñas’s PalaceCartographs of latent landscapes, A convergent language: GIS platforms and urban indicators, SAFTzine. nº8. Resources (2018) are some of the scientific contributions we have made. Parallel to these works we organize Dialogues in the gardens annually. A series of meetings with people related to the world of gardening, horticulture, landscape design, history, art, medicine, architecture, etc. To inform and reflect informally on the different dimensions that gardens treasure.

Among the entities with which we have collaborated in scientific projects are: In-gentes, Form, SemanticVille, University of Seville, Politecnico di Milano, IAPH, Patronato del Real Alcázar de Sevilla, Casa de Alba, Fab-lab Sevilla, Habitec Foundation, IUCN, SanLúcar de Barrameda’s Council, Sevilla’s Council o la Casa de Alba. etc.
